Adobe Flash CS3
Adobe Flash CS3 creates vector-based animations for graphics, text, audio and video to create rich interactive interfaces and applications.
We recommend that the Flash CS3 Series be taken in order. The series begins with Interface, Drawing & Layers, followed by Layers & Animation, Buttons & ActionScript and finally Finishing Touches.
Flash CS3 1: Interface, Drawing & Layers
Recommended Prerequisite: General knowledge of the Windows operating environment
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Explore the Flash Interface
- Work with Images
- Draw Basic Shapes
- Work with Layers
- Adjust Frames and Keyframes

Flash CS3 2: Formatting, Animation & Publishing
Recommended Prerequisite: Flash CS3 1: Interface, Drawing & Layers
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Format Objects and Colors
- Create Frame-by-Frame and Tweened Animations
- Create, Edit and Mask Vector Paths
- Test and Publish .swf Movies

Flash CS3 3: Buttons & Basic ActionScript 3.0
Recommended Prerequisite: Flash CS3 2: Formatting, Animation & Publishing
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Create Button Symbols
- Control Sound
- Insert Component Elements
- Control Interactivity with ActionScript 3.0
- Import Dynamic Content
Flash CS3 4: Special Projects with ActionScript 3.0
Recommended Prerequisite: Flash CS3 3: Buttons & Basic ActionScript 3.0

Flash CS3 5: Advanced Animations & ActionScript 3.0
Recommended Prerequisite: Flash CS3 4: Special Projects with ActionScript 3.0

- Apply Timeline Effects
- Animate Masks
- Create Shape Tweens
- Animate Filters
- Animate with ActionScript 3.0
