Adobe Photoshop CS2

Photoshop is the leading software program for image editing in which Training currently offers several hands-on courses. Each course allows plenty of time to practice new skills.

Photoshop is not an intuitive program and cannot be learned overnight. Training recommends that you take the first three courses for a solid foundation in Photoshop. Between each course, it is recommended that you make time for additional practice.

All of the Photoshop courses are available for both PC and Mac. Please inform the instructor of your preference when you arrive for the class.

Photoshop CS2: Selections & Layers

Recommended Prerequisite: General knowledge of the Windows or Macintosh operating environment

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Use Different Selection Methods
• Manipulate Selections
• Create Layers
• Modify Layers

Photoshop CS2: Colors, Masks, & Saving for the Web

Recommended Prerequisite: Photoshop CS2: Selections & Layers

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Understand the Different Color Modes
• Pick Colors and Brushes
• Apply Masks
• Save Images for Use on the Web

Photoshop CS2: Retouching

Recommended Prerequisite: Photoshop CS2: Colors, Masks & Saving for the Web

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Apply Adjustment Layers
• Retouch with the Editing Tools
• Repair Images with Various Tools
• Correct Color Imbalances

Photoshop CS2: Advanced Techniques

Recommended Prerequisite: Photoshop CS2: Colors, Masks & Saving for the Web

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Create and Manipulate Paths
• Examine the Raw File Format
• Work with Smart Objects
• Counteract Lens Distortion
